Great monopod

Excellent for studio

Best I ever own . Have 4 already and need 4 more . Qualify is superior than others . Completely recommend them .

Very happy with this monopod. I have limited space and this is an excellent space saver, perfect for my needs.

Cons
Stand max height is less than 7 feet
Not as stable as a C-stand
Boom arms require more counter weight than a standard stand
Stand base is not ideal for outdoor use. (Felt pad and uneven surfaces are problematic) a rubber pad would work better, will likely replace.

Pros
The stand goes down to 30”. Wish I had it on my last shoot
The base allows the stand to be placed just about anywhere
While heavier than a normal tripod, but I will probably be using it as one, just need to figure an easy way to carry the base
Like the way the segments locks over a normal stand

All in all, happy with the purchase

These are extremely convenient to have especially if you have a lot of equipment. I have light stands, bags, boxes, camera gear, etc. spread all over my office and it’s really nice to have some of my space back. These have such a small footprint and things can sit on the base, so I wouldn’t even consider the base as part of the footprint.
