Mount your compatible DJI gimbal (RS2, RS2 Pro, RS3 Pro, RS4, or RS4 Pro) onto the Nano 2 using the RS Adapter. Connect it to the communication box via the RSA port.

Level the Stabilizer

Ensure the gimbal is properly leveled before powering on. An unbalanced setup may trigger a battery voltage warning. Turn on gimbal calibration to boost motion stability.

Enable Manual Adjustment

Power on the DJI gimbal and activate the Manual Adjustment setting. This ensures smooth communication between the gimbal and Nano 2. 

Set Your Points

With everything connected, begin setting your motion points. Use the Nano 2’s app or touchscreen to define keyframes, speed, and direction.

Can the Nano 2 be used individually?

Yes, the Shark Slider Nano 2 can be used without a DJI gimbal. After exchanging the Nano 2 RS Adapter for the quick-release plate that comes with the Nano 2 on the slider, you can install a fluid head, ball head or phone clip on it, and then mount your camera or smart phone for use.

Which DJI models are compatible with the Nano 2?

Currently, the Nano 2 supports the following DJI gimbal models: RS2, RS2 Pro, RS3 Pro, RS4, and RS4 Pro.

 

Note: The focus function is only compatible with the RS4/RS4 Pro + DF03-002 Focus Motor.

What makes the stabilization system unique?

The Nano II combines multi-axis motion with a new auto-calibrating algorithm and high-performance brushless motors. This means smoother, more precise movement—whether you're shooting with a 100mm telephoto lens or capturing delicate macro shots. No shake, no noise—just rock-solid footage, every time.

What do the two buttons on the display panel do?

The buttons on the Nano 2 serve as lock/unlock controls.

 

Unlock: Press the Power Button and Fn Button simultaneously. The motor disengages, allowing you to manually set track points.

 

Tip: On other pages, this combination quickly jumps to the main page and unlocks. 

 

Lock: After unlocking, press the Power Button to lock the slide rail.

How do I use the Facial Tracking feature of the Nano 2?

Attach your phone to the top of your camera and launch the iFootage Moco app. Select your subject on the screen, and the Nano 2 will use AI facial recognition to track their movement.
